Homeschooling on a Budget!

Homeschooling.

Am I a mom who spends hundreds of dollars per child on curriculum?  Nope!  Not even close.

I currently homeschool a 4th and a 10th grader.  Pretty demanding grades!  So, how are we homeschooling less than $100 a year?  Actually, it’s less than $50!  LOL!

I am an eclectic homeschool teacher.  I mix and match curricula, and add to or take away depending on how our year is progressing.  I very rarely ever buy box curriculum.  I normally buy from one publisher—Carson-Dellosa—for most of my materials and resources.  Carson-Dellosa is a publishing company who offers a wide selection of Christian teaching materials, educational extenders, and resource materials—even a whole host of educational games.

I genuinely love Carson-Dellosa.  I began purchasing from Carson-Dellosa WAY BACK in the day—LOL—when many of their publications were Frank Schaffner Publishing.  Carson-Dellosa has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years.  No matter your educational needs, you are sure to find something for your children—and at an affordable price!

On a final note, even if your children are on a higher-grade level than the Publisher recommends, I can assure you that you can tweak any of their 7th or 8th-grade resources to fit your child’s needs.

I hope this little excerpt has helped you see how you can afford to homeschool on a “little” budget!  The picture you see in this post is a few of my 4th Grader’s school books for this year.

Homeschooling on a budget just got easier!
